Outlook Technical Services PTE Ltd. (OTS) is an international third-party lab specializing in furniture testing, packaging testing & design, and in-transit testing. We are ISO, ISTA and CCSB/NMFTA certified and have a wide range of test capabilities. We also offer consulting on furniture and packing designs.
The first OTS lab was established in China in 1998 as part of Outlook International Ltd, one of the largest home furnishing sourcing and quality assurance companies in Asia (www.Outlooksourcing.com) As Outlook expanded through the late 1990s and early 2000’s, additional labs were established in the Philippines, Vietnam, and Indonesia.
In 2011, Outlook Technical Services (SG) Pte Ltd. was established to separate the testing labs from the Outlook International quality assurance operations. This would provide the testing operations with the autonomy to operate as independent third-party testing laboratories. This transformation permitted the labs to achieve various professional certifications, allowing the labs to offer their extensive transit and home furnishings testing experience in a certified format to third parties. By mid-2012, the transition for the Vietnam and Indonesian facilities was completed and both labs began operating independently.
In 2023, the Vietnam Lab obtained their ISO 17095 certification. The Indonesian lab is expected to complete ISO 17095 in early 2025. Both the Vietnam and Indonesia labs have ISTA and CCSB/NMFTA certification for transit testing.
