The (Senior) Account Manager is the key driver of client relationships and business growth at Dentsu Sports Vietnam. You own the accounts, lead the strategy, and are accountable for delivering sports marketing solutions that create real commercial and social impact for brands – particularly in football sponsorships, marathon events, and large-scale sports activations.

You will lead client engagements, pitch and hunt new business, manage key accounts independently, and collaborate with sports organizations, football federations, marathon organizers, and event partners to bring sports marketing campaigns to life – from strategic planning to on-ground execution.

This role is ideal for a sports-passionate professional with at least 4 years of experience in a similar senior account management or client-facing role at a marketing or sports agency, who thrives in leading projects, managing complexity, and delivering results in fast-moving, high-energy environments

Main required duties of the Senior Account Manager:

Client’s account management:
- Take care of at least 4 key accounts of different clients
- Communicating with clients to ensure that all of their needs are understood and addressed. Meeting & presenting DSV service to current & potential clients
- Building strong client relationships to maintain current business and acquire new clients.
- Collaborating with various internal departments to ensure that they fulfill all client requests.
- Resolving complaints and keeping track of all processes that pertain to the client’s desires
Planning of activities: Marketing activities of client: events, campaigns offline/online
Visit stadiums/events, attending matches in Vietnam and overseas: take photos of sponsors booths, and sponsors logos inside of the stadium and prepare reports.
Management and operation of sports-related events (football, marathon, and others): work directly with football federations and other organizations, negotiate and follow up with projects, work with football clubs and arrange players for sponsors events and commercial shootings, etc.
Working with overseas agencies, football federations & other sports organizations: work and coordinate on organizing football matches and events.
Preparing contracts & other documents: contracts between clients and vendors for various projects in English and Vietnamese, working with legal, following up with the Finance team for payments, etc.
Domestic and overseas business trips: to be able to travel mainly to Hanoi and to SEA countries.

Yêu Cầu Công Việc

Strong presentation and pitching skills in both Vietnamese and English (Native Vietnamese required). Comfortable leading client-facing meetings, pitching new business proposals, and hunting new accounts proactively.
Positive, high-energy personality with a genuine sports spirit: proactive, adaptable, and always brings abundant energy to the team and client environments. Willingness to learn and take initiatives is a must.
Good collaboration with internal and external teams: the ability to socialize and synchronize with team members, clients, and vendors
Good negotiation skills to achieve positive and desirable results.
Problem-solving skills: the ability to understand the points of the problem and the ability to find solutions.
IMC and event management experience: hands-on experience planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns (sponsorship activation, on-ground events, digital touchpoints) and managing sports-related events end-to-end. Ability to brainstorm and bring fresh ideas for clients’ marketing activities.
Resilience under pressure and strong time management: ability to stay calm and solution-focused during high-pressure situations, manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and maintain a healthy work-life balance.
Sports Passion – especially Football: Must be a genuine sports fan who actively follows the Vietnam National Football Team’s journey and marathon events at minimum. Deep involvement in football activities (playing, coaching, volunteering, fan community) or marathon participation is a strong advantage. A true sports mindset – not just job knowledge – is what we are looking for.
Minimum 4 years of experience in an equivalent senior account management or client-facing role at a marketing, sports marketing, or integrated agency. Proven experience managing and operating marathon events (race logistics, sponsor activation, stakeholder coordination) is required. Experience in football sponsorship or other sports properties is a strong advantage.
MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook are must.
[MANDATORY] Mobility and Field Availability: Must be fully available and willing to travel frequently, work at live events, and operate in outdoor environments. This role requires significant field presence – stadiums, event venues, outdoor activations.
