The C&B Team Leader is responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of Compensation & Benefits, with a strong focus on total rewards, payroll operations, and compliance. This role ensures accurate and efficient execution while continuously improving processes, systems, and data capabilities.
Acting as a key partner to stakeholders, the role provides practical, data-driven advice on compensation, benefits, and employee-related matters. At the same time, the C&B Team Leader plays a critical role in strengthening governance, enhancing rewards effectiveness, and building a high-performing team to support business growth.
For candidates based in Ho Chi Minh City, a six-month onboarding period in Hanoi is required. Flight tickets and accommodation fees will be provided.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
1. Total Rewards Strategy & Design
- Develop and continuously refine the Total Rewards strategy (compensation, benefits, incentives, and recognition) aligned with business growth and talent objectives.
- Design and manage compensation frameworks including salary structures, job grading, pay progression, and internal equity analysis.
- Lead annual compensation cycles (merit review, bonus programs, incentive schemes) and ensure pay-for-performance culture.
- Conduct job evaluation, market benchmarking, and provide data-driven recommendations on offers, promotions, and pay adjustments.
2. Market Benchmarking & Insights
- Leverage external survey data (Mercer, Talentnet, etc.) and internal analytics to benchmark compensation and benefits.
- Translate market intelligence into practical policy updates and competitive pay positioning.
- Act as internal expert on compensation trends and reward governance.
3. Payroll, Benefits & Compliance
- Oversee end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and full compliance with PIT, BHXH, labor law, and tax regulations.
- Manage benefits programs (healthcare, allowances, insurance, incentives, ...) and propose enhancements to improve employee experience.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax authorities, and external vendors; maintain audit readiness and governance standards.
4. Process Improvement, System Optimization & Data Analytics
- Lead digital transformation initiatives to automate C&B processes, reduce manual workload, and optimize HRIS/payroll systems.
- Build and maintain C&B dashboards (payroll cost, salary trends, turnover, incentive ROI, total employee cost)
- Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance data quality, reporting capabilities, and overall C&B efficiency.
5. Stakeholder Advisory & Team Leadership
- Act as a strategic business partner on compensation structure, workforce cost, and C&B-related decisions.
- Provide guidance on employee relations matters and labor regulations.
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing C&B team; foster a culture of ownership, analytical thinking, and operational excellence.
