ROLE PURPOSE
The Drafter is responsible for producing accurate and detailed shop drawings for joinery items, ensuring all documentation aligns with the project contract, design intent, and Australia construction standards. This role requires strong experience in Drafting for manufacturing purposes and a solid understanding of joinery manufacturing processes.
You will work closely with project managers, designers, and production teams to ensure drawings are coordinated, buildable, and delivered according to the project program.
KEY RESULT AREAS – ACCOUNTABILITIES & MEASURABLES
Project Coordination
· Prepare complete joinery shop drawings based on architectural drawings, specifications, and design intent.
· Ensure all drawings comply with contract documents and project requirements.
· Coordinate with project managers to maintain drawing schedules and meet submission deadlines.
· Responsible for the drawing workflow to ensure smooth progression from concept to IFC stage.
Technical Drafting
· Produce detailed shop drawings using specialized software (Cabinet Vision preferred) as per requirement.
· Develop accurate cutting lists, material specifications, and hardware details.
· Ensure joinery construction methods are correctly represented and manufacturable.
· Revise drawings based on internal reviews, builder comments, and subcontractor feedback.
RFI
· Update drawings promptly based on RFI responses, site conditions, and design changes.
Internal Collaboration
· Work closely with production and assembly teams to resolve technical issues.
· Provide clear documentation to support manufacturing and assembly
· Identify discrepancies or risks early and escalate to senior team members.
Reporting
· Attend weekly coordination meetings.
· Provide progress updates on drawing packages.
· Highlight issues affecting design intent, constructability, or schedule.
1. Phối hợp dự án
● Chuẩn bị đầy đủ bản vẽ xưởng mộc dựa trên bản vẽ kiến trúc, thông số kỹ thuật và ý tưởng thiết kế.
● Đảm bảo tất cả bản vẽ tuân thủ hồ sơ hợp đồng và yêu cầu dự án.
● Phối hợp với quản lý dự án để duy trì tiến độ bản vẽ và đáp ứng thời hạn nộp.
● Chịu trách nhiệm quy trình bản vẽ để đảm bảo tiến triển suôn sẻ từ giai đoạn ý tưởng đến giai đoạn IFC.
2. Triển khai kỹ thuật
● Thực hiện bản vẽ chi tiết bằng phần mềm chuyên dụng (ưu tiên Cabinet Vision) theo yêu cầu.
● Phát triển danh sách cắt chính xác, thông số vật liệu và chi tiết phụ kiện.
● Đảm bảo phương pháp thi công mộc được thể hiện đúng và có thể sản xuất.
● Chỉnh sửa bản vẽ dựa trên các buổi rà soát nội bộ, ý kiến nhà thầu và phản hồi từ nhà thầu phụ
3. RFI
● Cập nhật bản vẽ kịp thời dựa trên phản hồi RFI, điều kiện thực tế tại công trường và thay đổi thiết kế.
4. Hợp tác nội bộ
● Làm việc chặt chẽ với đội sản xuất và lắp ráp để giải quyết các vấn đề kỹ thuật.
● Cung cấp tài liệu rõ ràng để hỗ trợ sản xuất và lắp ráp.
● Xác định sớm các sai lệch hoặc rủi ro và báo cáo cho thành viên cấp cao.
5. Báo cáo
● Tham dự các cuộc họp phối hợp hàng tuần.
● Cập nhật tiến độ các gói bản vẽ.
● Nêu bật các vấn đề ảnh hưởng đến ý tưởng thiết kế, khả năng thi công hoặc tiến độ.
