Mô tả Công việc

1. Role Mission

We are looking for a Sales Engineering Specialist who can bridge engineering and sales to support project development in the Singapore construction market.

The role focuses on analyzing project requirements, preparing technical proposals, and working with consultants and contractors to secure project approvals and increase bid success rates.

You will play a key role in transforming engineering capability into winning proposals.

2. What You Will Be Responsible For

1. Analyze Project Requirements

  • Review project drawings, specifications, and BOQ from Singapore consultants.
  • Identify technical requirements, risks, and compliance gaps.
  • Clarify scope and propose optimal technical solutions.

Typical project types:

  • Industrial factories
  • Infrastructure
  • Wastewater treatment plants
  • Data centers
  • Commercial developments

2. Prepare Technical Proposals & Tender Submissions

Prepare professional submission documents such as:

  • Technical proposals
  • Product specifications
  • Compliance matrices
  • Method statements
  • Value engineering proposals

Your goal is to make submissions clear, compliant, and consultant-friendly.

3. Support Sales to Win Projects

  • Work closely with the Sales Manager to develop project strategies.
  • Provide technical clarification during tender stage.
  • Join meetings with consultants, main contractors, and project managers.

4. Engineering Coordination

Coordinate internally with:

  • Engineering team
  • Production team
  • Procurement team

To ensure that:

  • Design is feasible for manufacturing
  • Installation is efficient
  • Costs remain competitive

5. Value Engineering

Actively propose engineering improvements such as:

  • Material optimization
  • Simplified fabrication
  • Faster installation solutions
  • Alternative materials

Your proposals should improve both cost competitiveness and technical value.

3. Who We Are Looking For

We are not looking for a typical salesperson.

We want someone who can think like an engineer and communicate like a consultant.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in:

  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Structural Engineering
  • Civil Engineering

Experience

2–6 years experience in one or more of the following:

  • Steel structures
  • Construction products
  • Metal fabrication
  • Facade / railing / fencing systems
  • Construction tendering

Experience working with international standards is highly preferred.

Technical Capabilities

You should be able to:

  • Read construction drawings and specifications
  • Understand fabrication and installation methods
  • Prepare technical proposals and compliance documents
  • Communicate engineering ideas clearly to clients

Tools

Preferred skills:

  • AutoCAD
  • Excel
  • PowerPoint
  • Basic cost analysis

Language

Strong English communication is required.

You will work directly with Singapore consultants and contractors.

4. What Makes You Stand Out

Candidates with the following experience will have strong advantage:

  • Experience working with Singapore consultants or contractors
  • Familiar with BCA / SS / EN standards
  • Experience preparing tender submissions
  • Experience in technical sales or proposal engineering
